Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue

Saving badass dogs from idiot humans.

Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-breed dog rescue composed of a network of fosters and volunteers who work together to rescue sweet, loving, adoptable dogs from high kill, rural shelters in the southern U.S. states and get them adopted into wonderful forever homes.

Ask a Badass: Trainer Tips from Jason Cohen: Door 'Greetings'

Welcome to Ask a Badass! Each month we'll answer your burning Badass questions - everything from training tips for your dogs to what it's like to be a Badass foster. For our inaugural issue, we asked one of our favorite trainers, Jason Cohen of Canine Cohen, to share one of his many awesome training videos. Email

It's Saturday night, and like a true Badass, you're getting in some quality Netflix and chill time with that special someone - your dog. But you know your quiet calm will soon be broken - once the Bringer of Food knocks on your door with your Seamless order, your Badass bud will lose it, barking, jumping, the whole nine yards. Sound familiar? Well if so, you're in luck! In this video "Knock Knock," Jason shows you how to condition your dogs to be calm in "Place" when they hear a knock at the door. Special thanks to Badasses Loki and Maddox for being star pupils!

Check out Jason's website and the Canine Cohen Facebook page for more great videos. And if you're interested in learning from Jason in person, email him at (he is totally badass).
